Abstract: The article aims to investigate the current situation of small innovative enterprises in Ukraine and compare changes in time and among countries. The analysis shows the tendencies, weaknesses, threats, which companies and national governments face with. It also could help to find new ways and incentives to improve the current positions and develop a strong strategy for the future.
