Abstract: The article analyses the specifics of currency circulation in Great Britain and Russia. On the basis of the analyses the author identifies some common characteristics of monetary circulation typical for both Great Britain and Russia. The author gives some recommendations, based on the British know-how, on the improvement of currency circulation in Russia.
