Abstract: The article examines business tourism, which plays an important role in the development of economy of any country and promotes its integration into global market. Business tourism provides acquaintance with new technology, helps to meet investors, partners, suppliers and prospects. Business tourism plays an important role in the development of St. Petersburg as a tourist centre.
