Abstract: Virtual organizations have been the subject of academic research since 1993-1994. This is an extremely many-sided and interdisciplinary topic which concerns nearly all modern schools of managerial science. The author examines the principles upon which virtual organizations are created, outlines their specifics and describes some problems involved in their management.
