Abstract: The modernization of the Russian economy under new ways to search the problem of increasing the efficiency of large integrated structures has recently become even more relevant. One of the most effective forms of integration in the Western experience of recognized public-private partnerships (PPP). The aim of the author's research is to develop a model of public-private partnerships in modern Russian conditions of modernization of the regulatory framework. The authors have analyzed the situation and novels of the new federal law on public-private and public-private partnerships. The result of this study is to develop a model municipal-private partnership, identifying the positive effects of the PPP model for the Russian economy. Scientific novelty lies in the development of the classification and presentation of the model of public-private partnerships and the overall structure of the implementation of socio-economic PPP projects. Application of the results: the situation and the results of the study will be useful for both private businesses and to public authorities, in the framework of the implementation of major priority projects and social development programs of the country. The authors made the socio-economic assessment of the effectiveness of implemented PPP projects and concluded that the strategic sectors of the Russian economy there is a need in the formation and development of public-private partnership, which allows to solve the problem of finding a balance between risk and return on invested capital.
