Abstract:

The paper examines the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of the financialization of the global economy having an impact on the formation of the global debt and undermining the sustainable development of the economy. Based on reports available from international organizations, the growth rates of the global economy and the presently existing world debt are estimated. The purpose and the structure of the increasing indebtedness of developed and developing countries are described that reveal the differences in the methods of debt settlement and the implications for individual countries and the whole world economy. A particular stress is put on the importance of monetary policy measures for achievement of the ruble and the Russian economy stability, especially in the situation of limited external borrowings caused by the financial sanctions.

В статье рассматриваются качественные и количественные характеристики финансиализации мировой экономики, влияющие на формирование мирового долга и противодействующие устойчивому развитию глобальной экономики. На основе анализа докладов международных организаций оцениваются темпы роста мировой экономики и современного мирового долга. Приводятся цели и структура увеличения задолженности развитых и развивающихся стран и раскрываются различия в способах ее урегулирования и последствиях для отдельных стран и мировой экономики в целом. Подчеркивается необходимость применения мер валютной политики для достижения стабильности рубля и устойчивости российской экономики, особенно при ограничении внешних заимствований в условиях финансовых санкций.
