Abstract:

The paper analyzes the key mechanisms of the Russia - ASEAN dialogue partnership formation and makes an assessment thereof with respect to the main cooperation areas. The chronology of the establishment of the dialogue partnership management bodies is outlined. The main approaches to the intensification and expansion of the economic cooperation are described. The conceptual principles that lay the foundation for the regional integration of ASEAN countries are examined, the specific features of this integration model are identified and the challenges of the current stage of the integration process development in the Asia-Pacific region are highlighted. The prospects of the further cooperation between Russia and ASEAN members in the situation of qualitative changes related to the formation of new multilateral integration associations are discussed.

В статье представлен анализ ключевых механизмов формирования диалогового партнерства Россия - АСЕАН и дана их оценка в рамках основных направлений взаимодействия. Рассмотрена хронология создания органов управления диалогового партнерства. Раскрыты основные подходы к наполнению и расширению экономического сотрудничества. Описаны концептуальные принципы, положенные в основу регионального интеграционного объединения стран АСЕАН. Выделены специфические особенности этой модели интеграционного объединения и показаны сложности современного этапа развития процесса интеграции в Азиатско-Тихоокеанском регионе. Выдвигаются предположения о возможных перспективах дальнейшего взаимодействия России и государств - членов АСЕАН в условиях качественных изменений, связанных с формированием новых многосторонних интеграционных объединений.
