Abstract:

The paper examines the current state of the international and Russian stock markets existing under the conditions of high instability. The purpose of the paper was to study and analyze foreign stock markets with the purpose to expand opportunities for diversifying investment portfolios by a wide range of investors. The study uses the statistical analysis to characterize the state and dynamics of the Russian stock market in comparison with foreign stock markets. Based on the research findings, it has been stated that investing in foreign stock markets is an affordable alternative to internal investments, hence the consideration of the opportunities available in this area is relevant in the current circumstances.

Статья рассматривает современное состояние мирового и российского фондовых рынков, существующих в настоящее время в условиях высокой нестабильности. Целью статьи является исследование и анализ зарубежных фондовых рынков с точки зрения расширения возможностей по диверсификации инвестиционных портфелей широким кругом инвесторов. В исследовании проводится анализ статистического материала, который характеризует состояние и динамику российского фондового рынка в сравнении с зарубежными фондовыми рынками. В результате проведенного исследования было выявлено, что вложения на зарубежных фондовых рынках являются доступной альтернативой внутренним вложениям, поэтому рассмотрение имеющихся на этом направлении возможностей является весьма актуальным в сложившихся условиях.
