Abstract:

Nowadays, the development of regions in the Russian Federation is determined by a multitude of competing factors that require comprehensive analysis. Of particular interest are territories that differ from the rest of the country due to their unique status. The object of the research is the regions that make up the Baikal natural territory. The subject of research is the analysis of key parameters and sustainability of territorial systems in the Russian Federation enjoying a special status. The purpose of research was to study various modes of sustainability of regional development using a set of objective statistical indicators. It is concluded that according to many significant socio-economic parameters the situation in the regions of the Baikal natural territory is deteriorating, which, in aggregate, leads to degradation of the regional development sustainability and creates prerequisites for further deterioration of the situation. The results obtained can be used by regional administrations as well as by federal bodies.

В современных условиях развитие регионов Российской Федерации определяется множеством разнонаправленных факторов, требующих всестороннего анализа. Особый интерес представляет исследование территорий, отличающихся от остальной части страны в силу их уникального статуса. Объектом исследования выступили регионы, входящие в состав Байкальской природной территории. Предметом рассмотрения статьи является анализ ключевых параметров устойчивости развития территориальных систем в Российской Федерации, обладающих особым статусом. Цель статьи — исследование различных типов устойчивости регионального развития с применением комплекса объективных статистических индикаторов. Сделан вывод о том, что по многим значимым социально-экономическим параметрам в регионах Байкальской природной территории наблюдается ухудшение ситуации и в совокупности это приводит к снижению устойчивости регионального развития, создает предпосылки для дальнейшего ухудшения ситуации. Полученные результаты могут быть применены органами управления регионов, а также федерального уровня.
