Abstract:
Economics of institutions has been developed in social sciences in recent years. The program of the new institutional economics has allowed the making of a research agenda for the case of the Spanish economic policy that incorporates issues such as the institucional change, the institutions of decentralization and the governance of the State on new theoretical basis. This paper presents the foundations of the institutional analytical narrative as a methodological proposal that was adapted for the development of the research agenda of the Spanish case, and it exposes some of the main characteristics, pointing out methodological elements and substantive themes.
