INNOVATIVE BEHAVIOUR. AN ANALYSIS OF FIRMS PLACED IN GALICIA

Abstract: The goal of this paper is the analysis of innovative behavior of firms, that according to their innovative efforts in terms of R&D employees and R&D expenditures, are located in Galicia. The analysis of Technological Innovation Panel has allowed to identify a profile of innovative Galician company based on the type of innovation that makes (in product and in process), the cooperative relationships they have with other organizations, the access to additional sources of public funding for the development of innovation (from different sources: local, regional, national and European), and the weight of factors as obstacles to development innovation.
