BUSINESS INCUBATORS IN GALICIA AS AN INSTRUMENT OF LOCAL DEVELOPMENT: CURRENT SITUATION AND CHALLENGES

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to analyze the current situation of business incubators in Galicia. Therefore, a survey to all managers and entrepreneurs of these 21 incubators in the region of Galicia in 2009 has been carried out, in order to know the current status of them and to propose a series of reforms and elements that seek to improve the role of incubators as a tool for local development and entrepreneurship.
