Abstract:
The purpose of this study is an expost analysis and to quantify the economic impacts of Objective 1 interventions of the Structural Funds for the period 2000 – 2008 in Spain. The analysis is focusing on the economic impacts and the financial analysis of the: 7. Agrarian Development Programme. This paper uses cost-benefit analysis (CBA) model to study these interventions for this period and Spain. Net economic benefit of the programme shows that all programs are feasible at the level of Spain and at the regional level. This study has demonstrated the usefulness of a CBA.
