Abstract: Over the years a great number of different websites have emerged that offer crowd-sourcing services, which aim at taking advantage of the vast number of anonymous workers globally available to complete tasks. In this paper we review and analyze existing websites providing crowdsourcing services in an attempt to establish a framework that will allow systematic discussion, comparison and assessment of existing crowdsourcing platforms.
