Abstract:
This article is meant to be an approach to the reality of exchanges in the land market in a contemporary rural community, including its notorious imperfections. Power relations, as well as the patrimonial situation of each individual at the moment when the transaction was set up, are also studied. At the same time, there is an attempt to show, by means of am example, the way in which the peasants need to ensure their families sustenance often forced them, not only to sell their land at any price, but also to buy or lease it, and to pay for it, in unfavourable circumstances, more than the capitalist classes did.
