Abstract: The studies of agrarian history about the medieval Pais Valenciano present three initial problems: less documentation than that available for modern times; the youth of the investigations and, also, a tradition of edition in local or medieval reviews, but not in the specialised on agrarian history. The main Iines of investigation actually are dedicated to the construction of the new Christian society in the Thirteenth-Century, with special interest to the problems of the settlement and rural society; to the social history of the peasantry, with aspects to the private and family problems; to the problems of local power inside the rural communities and its stratification; to the feudal rent and the manorial power and, finally, to the close relations between city and country, so economical as social and political aspects.
