Abstract:
Through an analysis of different sources, various problems touching on peasant family economics in central Navarre at the end of the nineteenth century are broached. The aspects analysed are: the structure and composition of the peasant household, the ownership of land, land use, the organization of rural work, the market for rural labour, and the strategies of peasant families to ensure their continuation.
