Abstract:
One of the main problems faced by young entrepreneurs, both starting and continuing their economic activity is the lack of practice-relevant knowledge about the economic and legal aspects of their business as well as about the ways to solve current problems. The postulated solution is the concept of a Virtual Community of Practice, which refers to group of people who share ideas and insights, help each other solve problems and develop a common practice or approach to the field in virtual environment. The paper presents key structural determinants of the successful VCoPs as well as activities and tools to support the processes of their creation and development to support entrepreneurship.
