Abstract: The answer to the needs of organizations faced with changes of environment and new requirements of the market is talent management-an approach based on the wealth of talent and effectively implementing the objectives of the organization employees. The article attempts to identify the role of culture in the process of talent management. A concept has been adopted that organizational culture has an effect on both the formation and the use of practical talent management system. The data source was literature in the field of talent management and test report on the Polish and foreign markets. Analysis of the data indicates that in the case of companies that want to compete in domestic and international markets, noticing the cultural dimension in management is the first step in the right direction. Currently, the key of success is considered talented employees who are both a source of activities of strategic importance to the organization and the determinant of competitiveness in the knowledge economy.
