Abstract:
Bodies of knowledge are embodied in research communities and concretized in implementing networks. Neither Fleck nor Kuhn managed to dent the neopositivist mainstream of normal science in spite of its increasing incompatibility with the eventist ontology and social ecology of knowledge. Spatiotemporal pragmatics allows us to test embodied knowledge and to influence political negotiation between ideological abstractions. For instance, Soviet soldiers and Confederation generals have their monuments torn down. Values are not covered by metaphysical mortgage but emerge out of a multidimensional conversation of mankind, which harks back to the democracy of knowledge and culture after the Enlightenment as an ongoing conversation of mankind.
