Abstract:
With social structure and technology rapidly changing, cross-cultural management has been regarded as a worldwide trend. While there have been many cases and much literature on management of cross-cultural experiences from a Western perspective, few have discussed cross-cultural management in an Asian context. The goal of this research is to analyze the cross-cultural experience in high technology management and how it leads a boundary spanner toward project success. The researcher analyses the case of Polish engineer W³adys³aw Turowicz, who played a vital role in the formation of Pakistan Air Force and Pakistan’s Space Program (SUPARCO). The researcher has discussed the personal and professional life of W³adys³aw Turowicz and highlights some important cultural perspectives regarding high technology management.
