Abstract: The international environment, through the global market, and in this context financial flows due to their scale, has an ever stronger and increasingly significant impact on the Polish economy. On the one hand, this involves European funds and other financial instruments as well as foreign direct investment or cash flow. This article is an attempt to determine the scale of international financial flows between various market participants in Poland in the last few years and to identify available international financial instruments created for the development needs of EU countries. Therefore, the aim of the article is to present the opportunities and threats posed by international financial transfers and financial instruments for the Polish economy.
