Abstract:
The paper describes the role of social capital in the process of an enterprise coming out of a crisis situation. The author presents various approaches to defining the social capital of an organization, while also providing a brief description of its structure. The work analyses the elements of social capital in an enterprise and indicates the necessity of their development. This in particular, refers to the role of partnership culture, which is based on mutual cooperation between the management and the employees. This culture is based on the feeling of involvement, solidarity, trust and interdependence. Mutual partnership ties are the basis of the success of an enterprise. With the aim of indicating the results of the impact of partnership culture on the process of an organization coming out of a crisis a case study has been outlined. As exemplified by the description of the German company Farben GmBH, the process of an enterprise coming out of a crisis has been presented in terms of unfavourable economic conditions. The success of the enterprise was possible thanks to the implementation of the values of partnership culture by the management and the employees.
