Abstract:
Enterprise value growth-oriented system has had a significant impact on the company strategy and the management. Ideas and concepts of management related to maximization of the value for shareholders did particularly strong in recent years. This approach is equally popular in Poland. Nowadays it is the creation of company values that became a priority for many domestic companies. The basic elements, necessary for the correct estimate of the company value are: operational profit, the cost of the capital and the capital invested. The capital invested may be estimated on the basis of a financial report, whereas the cost of the capital requires more detailed data.
