Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to analyze connections between individual competencies (moral competence, self-leadership) and employees' unethical behavior. The article points to theoretical premises which suggest that the level of moral competence and self- leadership can be an important factor, which limits manifestation of employees' unethical practices. In order to verify these dependencies empirical research was conducted on a sample of 206 people.
