Abstract:
The advance to knowledge society is considered, in the world, as a necessary evolution to ensure the durable development in the context of new economy , based mainly on intense-intellectual products and activities, as well as to accomplish an advanced socio-human civilization. The administration of all kinds of resources involves the development of a new management process in order to allow the development and maintenance of firm competition. In this context, the emergence of a new type of organization - the virtual organization - with specific structure and methods - is a logical consequence of the process of adaptation to the needs and demands of the economic reality.
