Abstract: The present article reviews some conceptual and practical dimensions of the category of strategic behavior of organizations. Some theoretical premises in the domain of strategic behavior are presented, together with conditions for the optimality of the strategic approach vis-à-vis the requirements of the business context. An established procedure for the strategic diagnosis is also indicated.
