Abstract: The present article presents the most important conceptual dimensions in the area of the processes of strategy elaboration in organizations. The article also reviews the principal developments of the research in this area, together with the theoretical premises lying underneath, and the evolution of thought on the strategic processes in the domain of strategic management.
