Yearbook of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Sofia University, 2020, vol. 19, issue 1, 5-29
Abstract:
The study contains a critical review of the development of scientific research in Bulgaria in the area of modelling economic growth and cyclical fluctuations during the socialist period. The present second part continues the discussion from the previous one, focusing on the last decade of socialism in Bulgaria, i.e. from the beginning of the 1980s to the fall of communism in the beginning of the 1990s. In addition to the determinants of the modelling efforts' specifics continuing from the preceding decades, the article also identifies some interesting shifts concerning the scope and content of studies. The present material draws the overall conclusions, too.
