Abstract: The fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) triggered by the development of information and communications technologies (ICT) provides a baseline for smart automation, using decentralized control and smart connectivity (e.g., Internet of Things). The impacts and importance of Industry 4.0 are reflected in all aspects of our lives. A lack of digital culture, training, knowledge, and language are also challenges faced by Industry 4.0 while implementing its operations. Education 4.0 is a desired approach to learning that aligns itself with the emerging fourth industrial revolution. For universities to continue to produce successful graduates, they must prepare their students for a world where these cyber-physical systems are prevalent across all industries. The innovative activity of the educational process is specific and quite complicated, requires specific knowledge, skills, abilities. The purpose of this article is to present the connection between Education 4.0 and innovative practice in teaching, and the impact of coronavirus on higher education.
