Abstract:
Modern Russia can be proud of the relative economic, financial, and social stability. It has achieved the stability for the first time in decades. But the economic situation in the country is still complex despite the economic growth Russia has demonstrated during the recent years. Many internal and external destructive factors contribute to the complexity of the country development process. According to the article authors, strategic errors are not accidental; what is more, the error multiplication is part of a certain development pattern. The pattern is hardly connected with the social and economic situation. It has much to do with, first of all, the community attitudes pattern, the historic tradition and the bureaucratic attitudes found in all the social strata.
