Features of formation of oligopolistic structure of the banking market Russia

Abstract: The article deals with the oligopolistic structure of the banking market. Identified specific of oligopolistic banking market in Russia, was the result of banking-sector support from the state. It was noted that integration of banking business change the market structure of these industries in oligopoly. This affects on transaction costs on the banking market. The author marks that, in the oligopolistic market the rent-seeking behavior of the largest banks can only be changed through the stimulation of competition between them.
