Eğitimin Ekonomik Büyüme Üzerindeki Etkileri: PISA Katılımcıları Üzerinde Bir Uygulama (1990-2014)

Abstract:
In this study, it is intended that long-term effects on economic growth of education has been analyzed in global scale and in terms of economies of the PISA participants to be carried out a situation assessment. In this context, it has been investigated whether it is descriptive and valid in terms of the relationship between education and economic growth, in the economy the PISA 2012 participants the results of PISA, which is accepted as an international reference in the field of education, as econometric for the period 1990-2014. As a result of the study, it has been determined that is to positive the directional and statistically significant long-term effects on economic growth of education in the economies of PISA participants, in the review period. However, in the study it has been identifyed that the size of effects long-term and positive the directional on economic growth of education is increased in parallel with the level of success in the exam the economies of PISA participants. These results demonstrate that in the description of the relationship between education and economic growth in the economies of PISA participants of results of the PISA exam is valied.
