Abstract:
Selecting an appropriate supplier for outsourcing is now one of the most important decisions of the purchasing department. This paper proposes a model for ranking suppliers in the presence of weight restrictions, nondiscretionary factors, and cardinal and ordinal data. A numerical example demonstrates the application of the proposed method. Copyright Springer Science+Business Media, LLC 2009
