Abstract:
Abstract In this paper we propose a stochastic model for the location of emergency facilities. The model is formulated and analyzed. The location of one facility in the plane is optimally solved. Optimal algorithms are proposed for the location of multiple facilities on a network. Computational experiments illustrate the effectiveness of these solution procedures.
