Abstract: This study is a follow-up to some recent publications on potentialised partial differential equations in the context of theoretical spatial economics. In this paper potentialised wave and diffusion equations are considered with emphasis on the relation between the resulting process and the potentialising parameter. Empirical relevance in spatial (regional and urban) economics is discussed.
