Abstract Roger Stough contributed significantly to regional science development, with a prolific scientific productions, with a long stint as editor of The Annals of Regional Science, with his leadership as President of the Regional Science Association International, and displaying an undying dedication to serve, generous with his time, mentoring countless students and young scholars, and a strong dedication to raise funding and by organize conferences around the world that expanded the regional association in many countries in all continents. Here, a short biography is presented that highlights those works across his life.
