Abstract:
Abstract The main aim of long term evolution is to provide very high rate for downlink and uplink, better multimedia services and more user flexibility than the current cellular networks. There is a very important role of resource allocation management in the network to achieve better performance in terms of data rate and quality of service. These scheduling algorithms/strategies are responsible to allocating the resources to the users. There are many existing scheduling algorithms. In this paper we analyzed the performance of proportional fair, modified largest weighted delay first, exponential proportional fairness and FLS algorithms on a single cell affected by interference for different flows named as VIDEO, Best Effort, and CBR. The comparative analysis is done in terms of packet loss ratio, fairness index, delay, spectral efficiency and throughput.
