Abstract: Abstract This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the research, highlighting the critical intersection of food security and risk management in the context of a growing global population. The study aims to address the pressing challenges posed by food insecurity through a critical bibliometric analysis of the burgeoning literature on risk management in food security. The analysis, conducted using the Scopus database, aims to trace the temporal growth of research in this vital field, spotlighting key publication trends and identifying emerging clusters based on study objectives, methodologies, and findings. The study also emphasizes the need for a more comprehensive and nuanced approach to understanding and addressing the various factors that influence food security and the associated risks. Additionally, this paper discusses the limitations of the study and provides suggestions for future research, emphasizing the need for a paradigm shift in the research landscape to ensure a more balanced representation across developed, developing, and underdeveloped nations.
