Abstract:
Abstract This paper's principal theme is to examine the World Health Organization's role and activities relevant to water in Europe. The parameters of the continent and its special characteristics are described. The types of work undertaken by the Organization with reference to water and Europe are outlined. A brief description of the new research priorities for water and health in Europe is also presented.
