Magnetostriction of MnF 2 in high magnetic field

V. I. Nizhankovskii ()

The European Physical Journal B: Condensed Matter and Complex Systems, 2010, vol. 78, issue 4, 449-453

Abstract: Magnetostriction and magnetization of MnF 2 samples are measured at several temperatures from T=4.2 to 70 K in fields up to 14 T directed along and perpendicular to the easy-axis direction [001]. Obtained results confirm the thermodynamic description of magnetostriction proposed earlier. Copyright EDP Sciences, SIF, Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2010
