Abstract:
Based on two-band Ginzburg-Landau theory, we study the temperature and angular dependences of upper critical field for superconducting crystal NbS 2 . All the results fit the experimental data well. We thus conclude that NbS 2 is another example of two-gap superconductors. Our calculations also indicate that the larger gap opens in the quasi-two-dimensional Nb-derived bands.
