Abstract:
Based on the extended Blonder-Tinkham-Klapwijk formalism, we study the tunneling spectroscopy in a point contact half-metal/iron pnictide superconductors junctions, allowing for the spin-flip scattering at the interfaces. It is shown that the sharp conductance peak has been observed at an energy within superconducting energy gap in the s ± pairing case. In contrast, for the s ++ pairing model, we find the vanishing in-gap conductance peak. Moreover, for the case of s ++ and s ± pairing model, the sugap conductance is insensitive to the different superconducting gap ratio. Our results will provide a useful new experimental methods to identify the gap symmetry of the iron pnictide SC. Copyright EDP Sciences, SIF, Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2015
