Abstract:
Abstract In the present paper, based on matrix diagonalization method and density matrix approach, the optical rectification (OR), second harmonic and third harmonic generations (SHG and THG) of a GaAs quantum ring (QR) were numerically investigated. To do this purpose, dependency of transition energies and geometrical factors on external magnetic, electric fields and inner radius were analyzed in the presence of Rashba (R) and Dresselhaus (D) spin orbit interactions (SOIs). The outcomes obviously indicate that position and amplitude of OR, SHG and THG peaks experienced intensive depend on external fields, inner radius and interplay of SOIs. These outcomes may be useful due to improvement of spintronics devices. Graphical abstract
