Abstract: Abstract Current work performs a comprehensive exploration of the internal energy, entropy, heat capacity, and Helmholtz free energy of GaAs quantum dot (QD) under the joint influence of anharmonicity and Gaussian white noise (GWHN). The symmetry of the anharmonic potential (odd/even), the mode of application of GWHN (additive/multiplicative), and the QD confinement get involved in a highly intricate interplay to harness the said thermodynamic properties. Anharmonicity of odd (even) parity lowers (raises) the confinement of the system with respect to the anharmonicity-free state. Most often, multiplicative noise results into greater deviation of the thermodynamic properties (from the noise-free situation) than its additive neighbor. Added to this, applied additive (multiplicative) noise enhances (diminishes) the magnitudes of the thermal properties with respect to their noise-free values. The study also exhibits rivalry between thermal disorder and spatial disorder which marks its signature on the profiles of the said thermal properties.
