Abstract: Abstract This study employs Monte Carlo simulations to investigate the dielectric properties of a spherical mixed-spin system (S = 5/2, σ = 2), using an analogy between magnetic and dielectric behaviors. The results reveal ferrielectric-to-paraelectric phase transitions influenced by exchange interactions, the crystal field, and an external electric field. A reentrant polarization behavior is also observed, emphasizing the complex interplay between thermal fluctuations and microscopic mechanisms. These findings suggest potential applications in ferroelectric memory devices and spintronic technologies. Graphical abstract Temperature dependence of P for rS = 6 in (a). The calculations are based on jσσ = 0.5, jsσ = − 0.5, d = − 0.5, and eZ = 0.25
