Abstract:
Abstract In this paper, we make some comments as well as some constructive criticisms on the paper “Proposals for a democracy of the future” by Bruno S. Frey (2017). We focus our attention and criticism mainly on the idea of variable weights of the votes, on the treatment of the outcomes of the referendums and on the use of randomization tools as a guarantee of fairness. The paper contains also some proposals of refinement for the validation of referendum outcomes.
