Revisiting the evidence on health and health care disparities among the Roma: a systematic review 2003–2012

Benjamin Cook (), Geoffrey Wayne, Anne Valentine, Anna Lessios and Ethan Yeh

International Journal of Public Health, 2013, vol. 58, issue 6, 885-911

Abstract: Roma youth and adults are in need of programs that reduce health disparities and their increased mortality risk. Reducing exposure to risk factors such as smoking, obesity, and poor living conditions may be a target for interventions. More intervention studies and rigorous evaluations are needed.
