Impact of mobile payment on e-commerce operations in different business scenarios under cloud computing environment

Abstract: Abstract It is aimed to enable many consumers to use mobile payment on a large scale and improve the operation and management capabilities of major e-commerce platforms. Based on collating much literature, the comparative analysis method compares different e-commerce platform’s operation methods and mobile payment business scenarios. Furthermore, the vital factors affecting e-commerce operations are found. By the survey and case analysis methods, mobile payment’s impact on e-commerce in different business scenarios is deeply understood. Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, the e-commerce operation model based on mobile payment in different business scenarios is proposed using Backpropagation (BP) neural network. Based on the in-depth data analysis, the original model is revised and verified using statistical methods. The results show that mobile payment has become a payment method that people are used to when buying goods. The data reliability is higher than 0.8, the validity is 0.77, the common value is higher than 0.5, and the total variance ratio is 72.99. The data quality is relatively high and the error between indexes is 0.892. The fit between the model and the data conforms to the structural equation standard. The mobile payment’s primary e-commerce scenario has the most significant impact on e-commerce operation efficiency, followed by the entertainment transaction scenario and the financial technology scenario. Perceived value plays a regulatory role. Mobile payment’s three scenarios can indirectly affect e-commerce operation efficiency through perceived value. The perceived usefulness, usability, and compatibility will directly affect the operational efficiency of e-commerce. This investigation can provide strong theoretical support for network e-commerce operations and mobile payment business applications.
