Abstract: Abstract Mobile adhoc networks are the only way for communication when we have catastrophic situations in remote areas. There is typically no central authority responsible for maintaining and configuring the Mobile ad-hoc network. Designing a MANET is fraught with difficulty due to the network's weakness and control overhead. The topology of the network changes due to the mobility of the nodes. Further link instability issues are also encountered. The aim of this work is to propose efficient yet light weight protocols with the help of fuzzy logic namely Stable On-Demand Multiple-Path Routing Protocol (SODRP) for MANET. By enhancing the performance and efficiency of packet delivery ratio, delay, and control overhead, the proposed protocols provide a new method for overcoming stability on demand. The experimental results show that SODRP gives packet delivery ratio improves on an average by 10.74% on 10 nodes test bed, packet delivery ratio improves on an average by 11.87% on 20 nodes, and throughput increases on an average by 12.64% as compared with Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) protocol. The objective is to increase the network's delivery ratio and throughput.
